What no one tells you about the grief process
Hi, I’m Susana. I want to tell you what no one tells you about the grief process. There is nothing more difficult than the loss of a loved one, or when a loved one becomes ill. Heartache can cause a negative impact on your entire life. It could be that you’re not satisfied with yourself or your life. This holds even more truth when you have no guidance and no one tells you about the grief process.
The Hearts Matter Project is one which I utilize in school districts today. It’s the same method that I use in my practice. If you are looking to adjust and adapt to the many changes associated with the grief process, I would like to help you. I know people mean well when they say “You’re going to be okay,” they just don’t tell you how. I also know that people mean well when they say “In time, you will feel better.” Unfortunately, that’s not realistic. No one tells you how to feel better, no one tells you how to be okay and no one tells you about the grief process. And trust me, it is a process. With the right mindset, you’ll be able to learn how to push through and to work through your heartache. I’m here to tell you what no one else tells you about the grief process.
I felt a strong desire to focus not only on one individual but on a mass majority struggling with the grief process. In doing so, I created a curriculum and parent’s guide to do just that. The curriculum has proven to be just as effective as a preventive measure. This is especially helpful when an individual or student may be at the beginning affects of a heartache or loss. The curriculum has been used in two school districts in the Houston area for the 2017-2018 academic school year. It will also be available in three school districts in the 2018-2019 academic school year. I am proud to say that the parent’s guide has become a book, titled “The Hearts Matter Project.” The book will be released in mid-September.
